I am getting ready...Thanks you for the inspiration. I am getting ready to start 30 days of working out. Hopefully It will help me get back in the habit. I won't work out every day, just every weekday. The weekends are just too crazy to try to work out then. I have to work out at home too. A gym membership is out of the question right now. There is a gym at my husbands work but he works 20 minutes away and that is a little unrealistic to think I will be able to find almost 2 hours with travel time to go somewhere and work out.

I like what you said about not wanting to "watch" the scale or say I want to weigh "x" amount. I am starting to exercise to get back into shape, not necessarily loose pounds. Honestly I'm not overweight, I am out of shape. Hopefully it will help me loose some inches though! :)

You are doing great! Keep up the good work!!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06274178714212627397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8101028800995433163.post-33122617288792698272010-10-30T08:11:22.917-07:002010-10-30T08:11:22.917-07:00I'll forgive you for it, Reyna. The scale isn...I'll forgive you for it, Reyna. The scale isn't a bad thing when you're trying to maintain your weight. But when you're wanting to lose weight, the scale is not your friend!Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05515030663618274693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8101028800995433163.post-45093932092073543332010-10-30T04:20:29.995-07:002010-10-30T04:20:29.995-07:00OK, head down...one hand raised here. It is me, ...OK, head down...one hand raised here. It is me, I am the one with the scale obsession. LOL. Not too bad really. I don't feel I need to weigh a certain weight by any means, but I like to know where the number is. When I first started my path to a "healthier" me...with a low calorie diet and mild exercise...the weight melted off. It was a great incentive. I have maintained that weight within 1 to 2 pounds over the years. When I started P90Xing it last spring the weight...like an extra 5#s came on. But, it wasn't bad, it was muscle. Now I can just tell by the way I am feeling and my clothes fitting that I need to regulate my diet a little better. I have a night time snacking issue. Otherwise, I eat super-duper healthfully. Tons of veggis, minimal processed foods etc...

Well...anyway, I will try to stay off the scale, but I am not promising anything. I am on my taper. A week from tomorrow is my race...which, my goal is to complete it running. I did Ab-Ripper X yesterday and that was it. Today I am headed out for a 7 miler.

Love ya Cindy!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00895126112651188056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8101028800995433163.post-40800964988213474662010-10-29T21:55:01.109-07:002010-10-29T21:55:01.109-07:00What luck you have with great workers at your gym....What luck you have with great workers at your gym...ours are not so much, actually I think I'd have a difficult time even getting a lot of them to understand English let alone diabetes!
You might find it funny that we don't own a scale in our house. Never have. My clothes are quite honest about what needs to change :)
Keep up the great work and enjoy those moments of sweating it out without any extra kiddos on your legs.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03210820513382353417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8101028800995433163.post-75679157510834918792010-10-29T21:24:45.393-07:002010-10-29T21:24:45.393-07:00I am one of those that you have inspired. I have ...I am one of those that you have inspired. I have made it into the gym or done an active activity with the kids since you challenged us to join you for the rest of the month. Feels good!

I am so glad that you are not looking to the scale but to how you feel, look, etc. I used to be a personal trainer right out of college and I never let people set a weight goal but a goal of fitting into their jeans or dropping a size or running a 5k. You are totally on the right path...keep it going girl!!Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07490374648906561675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8101028800995433163.post-89001059005506530632010-10-29T21:05:33.487-07:002010-10-29T21:05:33.487-07:00You ARE awesome and amazing!
